EmailCampaignTracker.com allows you to create trackable “Call-To-Action” (Request a  Sales Call, Unsubscribe, Request a Quote, etc.) email hyperlinks that integrates your preferred email marketing system with your GoldMine CRM software. Benefit from knowing immediately when your prospects and customers are interacting with your emails. With EmailCampaignTracker.com your email marketing campaigns are interactive allowing you to immediately schedule a follow-up call, next action, or alert your internal GoldMine sales reps the moment your prospects and customers interact with your email.

Your email recipients no longer need to be redirected to an online form to register for your event, or to request a sales call, a free trial or a product demonstration. As soon as your prospects or customers interact with your email campaign, we’ll immediately alert you, update their record in GoldMine and allow you to trigger an Automated Process for immediate follow-up.

2. What do I need in order to use EmailCampaignTracker.com?

  1. A GoldMine user account configured to send and receive emails.
  2. You will also need to enable and configure the Web Import feature of GoldMine.
  3. A user account with your preferred email marketing system or you can use GoldMine CRM to send your mass emails.
  4.  A free trial or paid user account with www.emailcampaigntracker.com

3. What are GoldMine Automated Processes?

GoldMine Automated Processes allow you to set up a series of predefined actions that can be performed on any contact or group of contacts in the GoldMine database. GoldMine Automated Processes allow you to automate routine tasks such as sending drip email marketing campaigns, scheduling follow-up actions, printing letters/envelopes, sending email follow-up responses to contacts, or any other series of business processes.

4. What is GoldMine Web Import?

GoldMine Web Import is a feature of GoldMine CRM that allows you to automatically create or update a contact record in GoldMine CRM from information submitted or processed via the web. This can be contact data submitted from your website’s contact forms or any contact data submitted or processed via the internet.

5. Where can I find my email campaigns click track results in GoldMine?

Your emails click track results are stored in GoldMine under the Details tab, as a detail called “Campaigns”. Here you can see the click track results for each individual contact. In addition, you can use SQL Queries to display an entire list of contacts based on many different scenarios: ie, who unsubscribed, who requested a sales call, who clicked a specific link, who requested a demonstration. Each of these can be limited to a specific date range, and even narrowed down to a specific campaign. 6. Does EmailCampaignTracker.com work with “XYZ” email system?

Currently our system works with a short list of email marketing systems. If you don’t see your email marketing system listed, please let us know and we’ll work as quickly as we can to add your email marketing system.

7. I’m interested in a self-hosted, not subscription based, version of Email CampaignTracker.com, is that possible?

8. My click track report shows unusually high clicks

  • A spam filter may be clicking your links.
    Some aggressive spam filters click links in emails to check for malicious activity before they’ll deliver them to the recipients. Unfortunately, there’s no way for us to see if a link has been clicked by a spam filter or your intended recipient, but if you see an unusually high number of clicks from a single domain/user, it’s likely to be a spam filter.

9. My click track report shows more clicks than my email marketing systems report

  • Your links are being clicked by your email marketing system, (i.e Mailchimp).
    When a campaign is sent, Mailchimps automated abuse-prevention system, Omnivore, automatically checks the links to ensure that the destination site doesn’t contain malicious content or code. Omnivore checks links before Mailchimps internal click tracking is applied. However, an outside link tracker, like Email Campaign Tracker or Google Analytics, may register MailChimp’s automatic link validation as clicks.

10. How do the subscribe and unsubscribe hyperlink options work?

The subscribe and unsubscribe hyperlinks are meant to only be used if you are sending your emails using GoldMine. The subscribe and unsubscribe links won’t work with other mass mailing systems, as those systems require their own subscribe and unsubscribe links. It is possible to integrate those systems unsubscribes and subscribes with GoldMine. Please contact us for more information.

As for the subscribe and unsubscribe links and how those work with GoldMine, that is really up to you and how you prefer to manage your subscriber lists. We do encourage our GoldMine users to use Email Merge Codes associated with each email address in GoldMine. When someone subscribes to your newsletter list, our trackable email hyperlink will notify you of this and you’ll just need to manually update that users email address in GoldMine with an appropriate email merge code, and if they choose to unsubscribe from your newsletter, you’d simply remove that email merge code from their email address.

11. How do I cancel my subscription?

When you sign-up for a monthly or yearly subscription, your subscription is managed through PayPal. Your credit card information is not stored in our system. In order to cancel your subscription, simply log into your PayPal account and cancel your subscription in PayPal. Our system will automatically be updated to indicated that you have canceled your subscription and you will no longer receive your click-track results in GoldMine. Our system will continue to process your email recipients clicks, you just won’t receive the click results.
